What Employer Branding needs is grounding

Employer branding is the identity-based, internally and externally effective development and positioning of a company as a credible and attractive employer. This primarily refers to a process of identity development and thus organizationaldevelopment. Only marginally, and above all externally, it is a process of marketing.

Employer brands need substance. That is why they grow from the inside out. Consequently, the implementation of an employer branding strategy begins with the company's own managers and employees and then propagates itself in the organizationparallel to external employer communication within the framework of so-called internal employer branding.

The basic rule is: The anchoring of the employer brand in the organization, especially in the management culture, creates more valuable and sustainable effects than its external activation in the labour markets.
